Frequently Asked Questions
To provide spot treatment, use a damp warm cloth and mild detergent. If you want to wash the entire band, you may soak it in warm water with mild detergent for a short period of time, if needed. It is not recommended to do either of those methods often as the soap used could impact the strength of the resistance band. We don’t recommend using a washing machine. Lay it out to dry. Do not place it in the direct sun.
For our long band, we currently only offer 1 size which is a medium resistance. This resistance is the most versatile for all skill levels. For our short band, we recommend starting with the light or medium resistance. If you are a beginner who is just getting into working out or if you have an injury and need to focus on your movements over strengthening, use the light band. However, the medium resistance is a great starting point also for beginners who are looking for that added strength to their workouts. The heavy band is a challenge and is a level to work up to once the light and medium become too easy. However, each band has their part to play in your workout program.
Our long band doesn’t have rubber grip as it limits the stretch in the band. However, we found without the rubber grip, it will still stay in place comfortably throughout your workout. Our short bands do have rubber grips on the inside to keep them from rolling during your leg exercises and high intensity workouts.
Our short bands are all 13.5 inches. Our long band is 39 inches.
As an inclusive company, we 100% plan to create a line of fitness gear that every body can use. We do not believe that any body size or group should be excluded and the current industry does not make fitness gear for all sizes. As soon as we have more capital we can invest, we will have a fitness line of all sizes. Resistance bands that are all 15 inch and resistance bands that are all 17 inch. If there is another size that you would like, contact us and let us know so we can develop a product for you.
With that said, right now we only have the one size of band (13.5 inch) and is made to stay secure while you use it regardless of the resistance. The light resistance can stretch significantly and is comfortable for every body size. The medium has slightly less stretch, so may not be comfortable for every body type. The heavy band is our most advanced band and is challenging for all body types to use. Expanding our line is a top priority for us.

Using a short band helps with making sure your glutes are activated prior to exercising. It is common for us to be quad dominant and if we don’t warm-up our glutes, we won’t be using the correct muscles during certain exercises. Also, sitting all day leads us to having tight hips and our bands will help you loosen your hips up.
Our long band is amazing for stretching, physical therapy, and strength training workouts. With all of our bands, they can force you to work hard during both the eccentric part of an exercise (when the muscle lengthens) and the concentric part of an exercise (when the muscle shortens). This means your muscles are working under tension for a longer amount of time. When using dumbbells, the concentric phase normally gets the most attention. However, developing control in both phases while using a resistance band will help you strengthen your muscles effectively.
We recommend keeping them in their mesh bag to help them air out and keep them in one place easily! Do not store them in your car regularly or in the sun as it can cause the resistance to weaken.
No! These were built to last. Unlike the latex or rubber resistance bands, our bands are durable, soft on skin, and stay in place during workouts. The fabric keeps them from ripping and the rubber is what helps them stay in place. We have personally had too many latex bands rip on us after using them for only a month, so we sought to change that with our bands!
Unfortunately, they are not latex free.
