About the shirt manufacturing process and our commitment to minimize our environmental impact making them as much as we can:
– 100% combed and ring-spun cotton
– Ethically made in WRAP certified factories
– Our manufacturer uses 7x less water than the average for clothing manufacturers, saving 24 million gallons a week. They also use solar energy to power our sewing and cutting facilities.
– We only make a shirt once a shirt is ordered to limit overproduction and
– The inks used are biodegradable water-based pigment inks that are toxin-free and non-hazardous.
– To prevent waste caused by overproduction, we don’t print a shirt until it is ordered. Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills, so made-to-order helps tremendously. While this takes longer to get the shirt to you, it allows us to limit the impact our shirts have on the environment.
